Dear Chicago Arts Promotion Folks,
Sorry I don’t remember the exact name of your organization. The camera in my phone isn’t nearly good enough to capture that kind of detail, and I was in kind of a hurry when I walked by. Your sign is lovely, though, and I do like a good shiny metaphor, especially one about the sea. I suppose my fondness for the sea has a lot to do with where I’m from. Anyway, you’re awfully sweet, and I’m flattered, but the thing is: I’m seeing someone already. I’m sure the right girl will walk by soon enough, though, and that you’ll be awfully happy together.
